Civic Center Plaza Carnival Returns to San Francisco for 2023

The Civic Center Plaza Carnival is a San Francisco tradition that has been running for over 100 years. The carnival features a variety of rides, games, and food vendors, as well as live entertainment. This year’s carnival will run from August 25 to September 4.

Some of the rides that will be featured at the carnival include the Ferris wheel, the roller coaster, and the bumper cars. There will also be games like ring toss, skee-ball, and balloon darts. And of course, no carnival would be complete without delicious food, such as funnel cakes, corn dogs, and cotton candy.

In addition to the rides, games, and food, the carnival will also feature live entertainment. There will be performances by local bands, dancers, and magicians. The carnival is a great way to spend a summer day with family and friends.

The event is part of an effort to revive San Francisco’s struggling downtown. The city hopes that the carnival will turn the area around and attract more visitors to Civic Center. The Heart of the City Farmers Market will also be extended from UN Plaza to where the carnival is located.

The Civic Center Carnival provides a fun and entertaining experience for attendees while also showcasing the potential of Civic Center. The event is a step towards reviving San Francisco’s struggling downtown and attracting more visitors to the area.
