Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced an extended strategic collaboration with Nvidia to introduce a generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) solution. This co-designed and pre-configured offering aims to enable enterprises of all sizes to rapidly customize their foundation models from private data while deploying applications in edge devices and in the cloud. The goal is to simplify GenAI infrastructure development with a complete AI tuning and inference solution jointly offered by HPE and Nvidia.
The co-engineered, pre-configured AI tuning and inferencing solution will allow enterprises to quickly customize foundation models using private data and deploy production applications anywhere, from edge to cloud. This offering is part of an expanded collaboration between HPE and Nvidia that delivers full-stack, out-of-the-box AI solutions. These solutions integrate HPE Machine Learning Development Environment Software, HPE Ezmeral Software, HPE ProLiant Compute, and HPE Cray Supercomputers with the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite, including the NVIDIA NeMo framework.
HPE’s CEO, Antonio Neri, emphasized that with generative AI, enterprises are quickly realizing that “the data and computational demands to effectively run AI models require a fundamentally different approach to technology.” This extended collaboration with Nvidia will help create the next series of AI-native and hybrid cloud offerings, enabling organizations to become AI-powered businesses.
