Trezor, a hardware crypto wallet company, has launched two new products this week at the Bitcoin Amsterdam conference to simplify the onboarding process for newcomers in the crypto space. The new products are Trezor Safe 3, a hardware crypto wallet, and Trezor Keep Metal, a “mistake-proof” backup solution for wallet passwords.
The Trezor Safe 3 is designed to be easy to use for new crypto users. It has a simple and intuitive interface, and it comes with a variety of educational resources to help users learn about cryptocurrency and how to use the wallet safely. The Safe 3 also supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies, so users can store and manage all of their digital assets in one place.
The wallet supports major cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as over 7,000 other tokens. It can be integrated with Trezor’s desktop application, which helps users manage their cryptocurrencies on its platform. The product also has a tamper-resistant hardware component to provide additional protection in real life and can operate in conditions ranging from negative 4°F to 140°F, according to Trezor’s website.
The device is a metal plate with engraved letters and numbers that can be used to store the seed phrase for a Trezor wallet. In addition to the new products, Trezor also released a limited edition bitcoin-focused hardware wallet that solely runs on Bitcoin firmware and is only available in “Bitcoin orange” color.
The Trezor Keep Metal is a backup solution for recovery seed phrases. Recovery seed phrases are strings of words that can be used to recover a cryptocurrency wallet if it is lost or stolen. The Keep Metal is made of durable materials and is watertight, so users can be sure that their recovery seed phrase will be safe and secure.
